- Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific proposes to contract the DRYDOCK and REPAIR to USCGC ALERT (WMEC 630), a 210? medium endurance cutter, homeported in Warrenton, OR. The vessel?s availability is for fifty-five (55) calendar days, starting 18 May 2005 through 12 July 2005. Geographical restrictions are within 200 miles of cutter?s home moorage. The work will include, but is not limited to; production control GANTT Bar chart, provide, chain locker clean and inspect, hull plating, underwater body inspect, ultrasonic testing, preserve, partial, freeboard preserve, hull plating preserve (100%), appendages (underwater) leak test, appendages (underwater), preserve, internal, air test, propulsion shaft fairwaters and rope guards inspect and repair, voids (non-accessible) leak test, voids (non-accessible) preserve, internal, repair hydraulic tank, 4-191-1F, tanks (hydraulic oil) clean and inspect, tanks (aviation fuel service) inspect and clean, tanks (aviation fuel stowage) clean and inspect, propulsion shaft coating inspect and test, propulsion shaft seals (mechanical) inspect and clean, propulsion shaft bearings (external) check clearances, controllable pitch propeller system maintenance, hubs general maintenance, propeller clean and inspect, boiler stack cleaning, boiler 5 year certification, electric motors overhaul, fathometer transducers general maintenance, AC chill water system clean and inspect, sea strainers (all sizes) overhaul, sea valves (<=2.5 inches) renewal, sea valve (>2.5 inches) overhaul, reverse osmosis ballast installation, emergency generator cooler installation, compressed air receivers (all) clean, inspect and hydro, steering gear overhaul, steering ram support and foundation repair, rudders inspect and repair, rudder stock removal and inspection, rudder (exterior) preserve, anchor windlass (gen) level 2 inspect and repair, anchor chain and ground tackle inspect and repair, cresent davit level 2 inspect and test, OWS installation completion, grey water holding tank clean and inspect, sewage holding tank clean and inspect, bilges (machinery space) preserve, flight decks (exterior) preserve, cathodic protection, zinc anode renewal, renew electrical matting, temporary services, drydock provide, drydocking, drydocking accomplished, chain lockers preserve, tanks (sewage) preserve, 100%.
