Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with BAE System Australia Limited, Defense Systems Division, DSTO Contractors Area, East Avenue Salisbury Australia for a not to exceed amount of $45,000,000.00. The BOA will cover a three-year period with two one-year options. This BOA will support the following efforts: Research and Development (R&D), engineering and logistics support services, test and evaluation, maintenance and repair, purchase of test equipment, purchase of parts and spare parts, Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs), safety and security services, software and data in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List. All support will be in accordance with a Statement of Work. The job orders issued against this BOA will be primarily for the support and advancement of the NULKA EDC and launch system that is currently deployed on US, Australian and Canadian ships. This BOA will provide for Fleet! readiness and mission capability directly to the NULKA program and will allow urgent and rapidly evolving requirements to be fulfilled in a timely fashion. Fleet readiness will be supported by the rapid Payload repair and updates of the limited quantity of Fleet assets. Advanced R&D will enhance mission capability and engineering Payload design efforts to meet the ever-evolving mission needs. The highest level of security required under this requirement is Top Secret, which will be designated on DD Form 254. Possession of this level of clearance will be verified prior to award. Procurements under the BOA will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis will satisfy the BOA requirement to issue a synopsis for job orders on a semi-annual basis.
