- Description
- The work includes the provision of all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performance of all work incidental to painting at NDW WEST, Dahlgren Virginia. The work includes but is not limited to preparing surfaces for interior and exterior painting. Lead paint sampling, abatement of lead based paint, and encapsulating lead based paint. Asbestos sampling and surface preparation for asbestos surfaces for painting. All work shall be performed on an indefinite quantity basis and upon the issuance of delivery orders by the Contracting Officer. This is an indefinite quantity contract with a base year and four option years. The guaranteed minimum is $25,000.00 (base year only). The Bid Opening Date is 11 January 2005. The Contract Maximum Price is $350,000.00 per year for a total of $1,750,000.00 over 5 years. Prices must be provided for all line items. The total of all the lines will be utilized to determine the low bidder. The SIC code for this project is 238320. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), the solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil (website). Hard copies (paper sets) of CD-ROM of solicitation WILL NOT be provided by the Government. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website.--Plan holders lists WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the website.
