Description

Grand Teton National Park, PO Drawer 170, Moose, WY 83012 intends to negotiate a Sole Soruce Procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12, with ComTech, Communication Technologies, Inc. 1900 #lk Street, Rock Springs WY, 82901 for the installation of telecommunication and computer equipment. This proposed action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their written interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competetive proposals, however, all expressions of interest received within 15 calendar days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competetive procurement. The work consists of the installation of seven Motorola Gold Elite work stations, a new server, COIM cards, one MCC5500 work station, Windows XP operating system and relocation of CEB. Work must take place between January 10 and March 31, 2005. Work will also include installation of 5 consolettes with tone remotes, wiring punch blocks and associated equipment into various locations. Work to be completed by May 1, 2005. Installation of Motorola Quantar repeater, combiner, multicoupler and lightning protection on Signal Mountain is also part of this action. Work will require over-snow vehicle for equipment and personnel and must be ccompleted before January 15, 2005. Work will not occur during a short period of time and multiple trips to site will be required. Teton County WY is an area of severe environmental conditions and has the highest cost of living within the State. The estimate for this work is $40-$50,000. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside with NAICS code 811213..
