- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to install new Air Conditioning System in Building 88 (Chapel). Work will include general construction, alterations, demolition, mechanical, electrical, painting, landscaping, necessary removal of existing structures, and certain other items as defined in the contract documents and drawings. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. The performance period is 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Electronic solicitation documents may be obtained FREE via the Business Opportunities System website: www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a nonrefundable check for $30.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and faxed to the Contracting Officer at 320-255-6341. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will only be available on the Business Opportunities System website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. If you are downloading this solicitation, it is strongly recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list available on the website. NO BIDDER?S MAILING LISTS ARE MAINTAINED WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. Bidder?s mailing lists can ONLY be found on the following website: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov . Drawings are in TIF format. The estimated cost range for this project is $25,000 to $100,000. The North American Classification System (NAICS) is 238220; size standard is $12.0 Million. Issue date is December 3, 2004. A Pre-bid meeting/walkthrough is scheduled for January 5,2005 at 2:00PM CT (local time), attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. Bid opening is 2:00PM (local time) on January 20, 2005. Electronic and faxed bids will not be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
