- 17. This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a synopsis only. SAMHSA anticpates making multiple awards for a period of one (1) year with four (4) one year options for a potential total of five (5) years. The purpose of this contract is to provide SAMHSA with logistical capabilities to support the numerous meetings, conferences, workshops that SAMHSA requires to support its missions and goals. This is an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract. Competitive task order will be issued under this contract as Agency requirements occur. A DRAFT Statement of Work and DRAFT Quality Assurance Surveillance will be posted at the SAMHSA web site. The items are posted to obtain industry comments and industry standards, if applicable. Industry comments on the DRAFT Statement of Work and DRAFT Quality Assurance Surveillance should be sent directly to David.Westall@samhsa.hhs.gov. Comments will be received until December 20, 2004. The estimated date for issuance of this RFP is December 22 24, 2004 with responses due January 24 , 2005. This solicitation may be obtained in any of three ways; by mail; picked up in person at 1 Choke Cherry Road, Room 7-1050 Rockville, MD 20850; or, electronically at the SAMHSA web site: http://www.samhsa.gov/contracts. The RFP notification will also be posted at Federal Business Opportunities: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Files will not be made available on the Web Site until after the estimated issuance date. If you have a continuing interest in the RFP, notify the individual identified below that you wish copies of amendments to the RFP (if any) sent to you, or check the Web Sites regularly for amendments which will also be posted there. Note: If you rely on the Web Site for obtaining amendments, SAMHSA has no way to assure, and therefore, assumes no responsibility for assuring you have downloaded these amendments. Requests for copies of the RFP must be made in writing. Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted; however, there is no assurance that copies requested after the twentieth day will reach the requestor before the due date for receipt of responses. Electronic mail and telephone requests will not be honored. This is a small business set-aside competition under NAICS code 541684. The small business size standard is $6 million. This set-aside is restricted to the following small business categories: 8a, HUB-Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Busisness.
