Description
The Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations Center, El Paso, Texas is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation HSBP1005Q0294 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a request for quotation in accordance with FAR 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-25. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. QUOTER SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items along with the firm?s DUNS number. Contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration and provide DUNS number with quotation. The term of the contract will be one year from date of award. The North American Industry Classification System code is 315299. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. A single award will be made. NOMEX Summer Jacket, MIL-J-83382C, Sage Green, Velcro name patch over right breast, NO epaulets: 00010 Medium: Guaranteed Minimum 20 Maximum 30 each: $______ ea; 00020 Large: Guaranteed Minimum 40 Maximum 50 each: $______ ea; 00030 X-Large: Guaranteed Minimum 40 Maximum 50 each: $______ ea; NOMEX Winter Jacket, MIL-J-83388, Sage Green, Velcro name patch over right breast, NO epaulets: 00040 Medium: Guaranteed Minimum 20 Maximum 30 each: $______ ea; 00050 Large: Guaranteed Minimum 40 Maximum 50 each: $______ ea; and 00060 X-Large: Guaranteed Minimum 40 Maximum 50 each: $______ ea. Delivery shall be within 90 calendar days after award of the delivery orders. Delivery is to be FOB Destination to DHS/BCBP U.S. Border Patrol Air and Marine Operations Center, 9C Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX 79906 per Department of Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation 3052.247-72. Quotations shall be valid for 60 days after due date. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, is applicable. Paragraph (a), evaluation criteria is as follows: Award will be made to the technically acceptable, lowest priced quotation from a responsible Quoter as defined in FAR Part 9, who also has satisfactory record of past performance as described in FAR subpart 42.15. FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
