Description

The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington, is hereby soliciting information for potential sources sought for G3/G6 Network Services. This service provides for staff support to I Corps G3 and the 142nd Signal Brigade at Fort Lewis, Washi ngton in the planning, preparation, installation, operation and maintenance of the I Corps Tactical Network primarily involving Microsoft and Cisco Systems technologies. The Technical Support Team (TST) will assist with upgrading the systems to ensure th at I Corps is kept current with other like systems in use throughout the services. The contractor must train G3 personnel in operation of the Army Battle Command System and assist with the planning of the integration of Army Battle Command Systems into th e local area network (LAN). The contractor shall be prepared to deploy in support of unit exercises and operational mission deployments, tactical operations and daily operations both at garrison and CONUS and OCONUS deployments. The TST will provide assi stance with systems engineering of the tactical network, administration of the Global Command and Control System (GCCS and GCCS-A). The TST will provide Data Network Systems Eningeer, Data Services Planner and Tactical Automation Systems Integration Manag ers/Planners. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541511 with a size standard of $21 million. To qualify as a small business concern, you must meet the size standard of $21 million average annual receipts over a three-year period for NAICS Code 541511. The Contracting Office at Fort Lewis, Washington, anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for a base and two one-year option periods. The above services are not all inclusive. Contractors are expected to provide all management and labor required for the operation and management of the functions listed. If subcontractors are used, provide anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used. All responses to any subsequent Requ est for Proposal will require complete technical, management and price proposal with associated supporting documentation. This is not a solicitation or announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement wi ll be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No telephone calls requesting a bid package or solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation. In order to protect the integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this notice, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given, nor will any appointments for presentations be accepted. Interested sources should provide a letter of interest with a capabil ities package limited to five pages to the address below. Responses to this notice should include (1) company name, address, point of contact, Dun and Bradstreet Number, CAGE code and size of business; (2) Annual revenue for NAICS Code 541511 and entire business, and total number of employees; (3) whether your firm is small and if it qualifies as a small emerging business or a small disadvantaged business; (4) whether your firm qualifies as disadvantaged and specify under which disadvantaged group or i f your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act; (5) whether your firm is certified as a HUBZone firm; (6) whether your firm is a woman-owned or operated business; (7) whether your firm is certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran-Owned business; (8) the year your firm was established. (9) Previous experience: Include information for on-going contracts or contracts completed within the last five years under NAICS Code 541511 or SIC Code 7371. Pertinent information is (a) Name of Contracting Activity; (b) Contract Number; (c) Contract Type (FFP, Cost, IDIQ or combination); (d) Period of Performance and total contract value (actual values for past contracts); (e) summary of contract work; (f) Contracting Officers name and current telephone number; (g) Contracting Officers Technical Representative (name and current telephone number) (h) list of major subcontractors including names, addresses and telephone numbers of primary point of contact. (i) brief overview of your technical approach and degree of experience in providing same or similar services; (j) evidence of financial capability and technical/management resources to su pport a requirement of this nature and size.
