Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with DHK Defense and Aerospace Cold Weather Gear for 300 pairs of Glacier Military Field Socks Part #DHK700018-74-1, 300 pairs of Trojan Military Sock, Anti Micro Part #KHK700018-TMS-AM/AC1 and 200 pairs of Gaiter, Military Boots (ECWCS) Part # KHK700074-1. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.320-1). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within three days from the date of the publicat ion of this sysnopsis. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no resposes are rec eived, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due 2 December 2:p.m. (MST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to the following address: patricia.richmond@carson.army.mil. Faxed responses will be accepted at (71 9) 526-4490. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
