- The Census Bureau, Economic Planning and Coordination Division (EPCD) has a requirement for an online service to access data detailing information on mergers and acquisitions. The types of data related to a merger or acquisition EPCD would like to have access to but not limited to are: effective date of merger, value of transaction, value of gross sales, value of net sales and percent of shares acquired; information for the ultimate parent company ? parent public status, parent primary NAICS code, SIC code, parent ticker symbol, parent name with address and phone number, DUNS number and any descriptions about the merger and ultimate parent company; information for the ultimate target company ? public status, primary NAICS code, SIC code, ticker symbol, name with address and phone number, DUNS number and any descriptions about the ultimate target; information on the target company of the merger and acquisition ? public status, primary NAICS code, SIC code, ticker symbol, name and address with phone number, DUNS number and any descriptions about the target company; for the company acquired and/or the ultimate acquired company ? public status, primary NAICS code, SIC code, ticker symbol, name and address and phone number, DUNS number and any descriptions about the company required. Access to this information should be online through a WEB based interface. A client/server access would be a second choice if a WEB based access were not available. Access to the information should be available 24 hours, 7 days per week for up to 40 users within the Census Bureau. Period of performance will be one year from award with an option for 4 additional years. Interested companies having the capability to provide the above-described services should submit, in writing, their capability statement with cost information to linda.a.vance@census.gov or fax to 301-457-8465 within 15 days of this notice. No telephone request will be honored.
