- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), is soliciting for a firm fixed price service type contract to be negotiated as a 100% small business set aside. The contractor is to provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the following equipment: Unit R-208 Mfg. Serial No. 26538R USNID 14-00499, Unit R-209 Mfg. Serial No. 26539R USNID 14-00500, Unit R-334 Mfg. Serial No. 26640R USNID 14-07190, Unit R-335 Mfg. Serial No. 26639R USNID 14-07189, Rudder Fixture USNID Part of 14-07189. All services will be based on requirements set forth in the performance work statement in the solicitation. The NAICS Code is 811310. Size standard is $6 million. The contract will be for one base year and four (4) option years. Period of performance is 12 months and is anticipated to begin October 2004 and extend through September 2005. The RFP will be issued 5 August 2004 with a closing date of 7 September 2004. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to anne.marotti@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Offers will be evaluated on the basis of best value to the Government, that is, selection of the contractor is to be based on other than the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Award will be made to the technically acceptable offer, which provides the best value to the Government, technical capability, past performance, and price considered.
