- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis for the acquisition of Administrative and Clerical Support Services at the Training Air Wing One (TW-1) located at Naval Air Station, Meridian, MS. The services will be accomplished through a modification extending the performance period under the existing purchase order N00140-01-M-0193. The extension will consist of a 1-month period and two (2), 1-month options. The extension is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (B3H Corporation, 51 Third St., Bldg. 1, P.O. Box 953, Shalimar, FL 32579-1700), under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The purpose of this extension is to allow sufficient time to complete the procurement process for a competitive follow-on contract. The applicable NAICS code is 561110 with a size standard of $6M. The Government intends to acquire the services from B3H since they are the only source that currently has the personnel and infrastructure in place to perform the requisite services by 1 January 2005 without an additional 30-day phase-in period (starting 1 December 2004) that would be required from a different source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not pay for information received. The RFQ was issued on 20 APR 2004, closed on 15 JUN 2004 and is currently under evaluation.
