Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) is requesting proposals for providing engineering and technical services for a complex array of systems being developed, modified for the extreme environments and within the Navy?s damage control community. This procurement is SET-ASIDE for firms under the Small Business Administration 8 (a) contracting program. Therefore, NSWCPC is requesting competitive proposals solely for firms in the Small Business Administration 8(A) program. The contractor shall provide personnel to perform test and evaluation, system performance assessment, engineering services, database development, modification and maintenance, training materials development, and documentation support on behalf of a variety of damage control programs being conducted by Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Panama City. Specific areas of support are as follows: Training, Shipboard Alteration Installation, Website Hosting, Development, and Maintenance, Dam! age Control Equipment Maintenance, Software Development, Logistics Support And Configuration Control, Fabrication, Prototyping, Technical Support And Assembly Of Damage Control Equipment, Conference And Seminar Support, Engineering Analysis, Design, and Operational Testing Of Systems And Equipment. All work products such as information, databases and software produced or developed under this contract will become the property of the Government.. A five-year cost reimbursement contract, with both term and completion delivery orders, is contemplated. Technical and cost proposals will be required. The successful offeror will require a Secret Facility Clearance. The NAICS classification code for this procurement is 541330 with a size standard of $23M. FSC R216. Contract Specialist: Mary F. A contract will be awarded on the basis of the proposal submitted in response! to the RFP on or about Feb 05. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Solicitation will be available for download on or about 19 Dec 04. Solicitation and any Amendments are to be downloaded. No Solicitations or Amendments will be mailed to offerors. Therefore, it's incumbent upon the potential offeror to be cognitive of the Government Points of Entry for all releases.
