Description

CONTACT Norman Karp, (732) 532-3723. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the Modification Kit, MK-2899, NSN: 5895-01-454-2029, P/N: 995-1402-001. Current source for the Modification Kit is Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 524 98, Cage 13499. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of the Modification Kit is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing the Modification Kit must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS -N-AC, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier ca n, in fact, supply the Army with Modification Kit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the Modification Kit from the previous supplier. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that this Modification Kit supplied will satisfa ctorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
