- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to exercise FAR clause 52.217-8 ?Option to Extend Services? under Contract DCA100-00-D-4006 with the Langston University (LU). This extension will permit solicitation, negotiation and award of a follow-on small business set-aside successor contract(s) for the Minority Institutions Technology Support Services (MITSS). Langston as the incumbent is the only University best suited to provide continuing support under the current MITSS for the period following 09 December 2004 until awarded and work commencement for the successor contract(s). Award to any other vendor at this time would pose unacceptable risk and delays to the MITSS program. See Note 22.
