Description
17. The Government intends to purchase using full and open competition, on a firm fixed-price basis a quantity of five Sarnafil Roofs used to cover portable modular buildings, including installation. Roof color must be close to Chrimson Red, with color samples to be provided by the offeror. The five buildings have the following approximate dimensions (in feet): Building 31335A 61' W X 120' L, Building 31335B 61' W X 120' L, Building 31335D 61' W X 120' L, Building 31338A 61' W X 60' L, Building 31338b 61' W X 94' L. Funds are only available for building 31335A. The other four buildings are options under the contract to be exercised should additional funds become available. Proposal evaluation criteria will include delivery schedule and price. The contract will be awarded on or about 16 December 2004 with delivery of the first roof as proposed by the offeror. The expected duration of the contract will not exceed one year from date of award. Proposals shall be ! quoted FOB Destination to Commanding Officer, ATTN: Supply Officer, MCTSSA, Building 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government's rights under the Inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable deliverable listed in the schedule of the contract. Proposals are due to the MCTSSA Contracts Office, P. O. Box 555171, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5171 no later than 3:30 p.m. on 15 December 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. !
