- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Philadelphia Division, intends to procure, on a Small-Business Set-aside basis, packing and crating services for the personal property of U.S. military and civilian personnel. Contractor is to provide services for inbound, outbound, and intra-city in the following area: Rode Island and Southern Massachusetts (Southern Massachusetts ? South of Route 44 ? Bristol County). A liaison office is required to be located within a reasonable distance from Naval Station Newport Rhode Island. The contract is for a ten (10) month base period from 01 March 2005 through 31 December 2005 and two (2) twelve (12) month option periods. An Indefinite Delivery Fixed Price Requirements type contract is anticipated, with services to be acquired under individual delivery orders issued under the contract. The applicable NAICS code is 488991. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISC. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at http:/www.neco.navy.mil. Numbered Note 1 applies.
