- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), P.O. Box 9729 Stratford, CT 06615-9129 on an other than full and open competitive basis for the manufacturing and installation of fifteen (15) Armed Helicopter fixed aircraft provisions into post production MH-60S Block 2A aircraft. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SAC is the sole developer of the H-60 helicopter and therefore the only source possessing the proprietary data, expertise, equipment and personnel to manufacture and install the Armed Helicopter fixed aircraft provisions into post production MH-60S Block 2A helicopters. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. See Numbered Note 22.)
