- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) wishes to announce the following: The Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO) of the Tricare Management Activity (TMA) is pleased to announce an Industry Day for Radiology Information System (RIS) Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) software vendors. This Industry Day is the preliminary step in a Department of Defense (DOD) acquisition of an Enterprise-wide RIS COTS software license and maintenance agreement for the Military He alth System (MHS). This RIS COTS product will subsequently be integrated into DOD's Composite Health Care System (CHCS) II software product. This one day presentation will include a briefing of the source selection process; an overview of the MHS environ ment; an overview of the RIS technical and funtional requirements; a question and answer session; and a CHCS II product demonstration. A few short breaks and a lunch break will be allocated between sessions. Directions to nearby restaurants and other din ing facilities will be provided at the start of the Industry Day. The Industry Day will be held on Wednesday, December 15. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m with an adjournment at 4:00 p.m. The event will be located at the Harper Center, 14700 Avion P arkway 100, Chantilly VA 20151. Driving directions will be provided upon request. All arrangements will be made through CITPO.
