Description

The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (USA RDECOM) Natick Contract Division, in support of the USA Soldier Systems Center (SSC), Kansas Street, Natick, MA 01760-5011, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ), using full and op en competition, to procure Nylon Codura Material printed with the Army Universal Camouflage Patter, 500 Weight for test and evaluation purposes. The FSC Code is 8305. The NAICS Code is 313210 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees. The Governm ent anticipates making multiple Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase orders for this acquisition. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Natick, MA 01760-5011. This acquisition involves the procurement of material to be used to prove out the camouflage design, develop standards and tolerances, and prepare the industry for the coming changes. It is anticipated that there will be an initial purchase order for approximately 10,000 yards of material, with an Option for an additional 30,000 yards of material. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. A RFQ will be issued on or about 24 November 2004.
