- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911S2-05-T-0012 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Solicitation documents and incorporated pro visions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-16. The standard industrial code is 7514 (NAICS code 532120) and the business size standard is $21.5 Million per year. This procurement is reserved for Small Business. The Request for Quote will be evaluated based on price, technically acceptable, and responsible offer/quote. Furnish and deliver the following items: CLIN 0001: Rental of five (5), 5 Ton, 2-Wheel Drive, Stake Rack Trucks to transport ammunition to and from the ranges, for the time period 16 Dec 04 thru 19 Mar 05. CLIN 0002: Tire Chains for each truck, 5 Sets. CLIN 0003: Mileage for each truck, Cost per mile. CLIN 0004: Charge per Service Call as needed. Vehicle maintenance facility must be within 90 miles of Fort Drum, NY. NOTE: ALL VEHICLES WILL BE USED OFF ROAD ON OCCASION. FOB delivery will be to Fort D rum, NY.
