- AMENDMENT 02 IS PROVIDED TO REVISE THE PROPOSAL SUBMISSION FORMAT, PROVIDE A QUESTION AND RESPONSE, AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TO OFFERORS CONCERNING THE STANDARD EMBASSY DESIGN PROGRAM.......Please see attached..... The U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is seeking to pre-qualify firms for Design-Build services for the execution of Standard Embassy Design (SED) New Embassy Complexes (NEC). Each project will consist of the design and construction of a complex to house U.S. Diplomatic functions in various worldwide locations. Each project is described below and may include a New Office Building (NOB), General Services Offices (GSO) and associated maintenance and warehouse facilities; perimeter compound security; vehicular and pedestrian access control facilities; parking; site recreational facilities; Marine Security Guard Quarters (MSGQ); and office annexes.
