Description

The Department of Justice, Facilities Services Staff, intends to procure with a single source, Quickpark, Inc., of Washington, DC, the lease of 26 commercial parking spaces with 24-hour seven days a week access to the building located @ 1331 Pa. Ave., NW, Wash., DC for the period December 1, 2004 thru September 30, 2005. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, Subpart 13.106 and Subpart 13.5. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be completed and included with any and all quotes submitted in response to this synopsis. FAR Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. All referenced FAR clauses may be copied at www.acqnet.gov. Due to the proprietary nature of the parking spaces' location, this contractor has been found to be the only known source to perform this requirement. However, written quotes providing a firm-fixed price for the 26 parking spaces specified in this announcement may be submitted via fax to the attention of John Schrecengost, DOJ/JMD/FASS/RPMS, on 202.307.1915. No telephonic responses will be accepted. No solicitation document exists. Quotations are due on November 26, 2004, by 5:00 P.M. EST. Oral quotations will not be accepted. [see note 22]*****
