Description
The Drug Enforcment Administration has a requirement for the DEA Dallas Field Division for P&M for the following services: Inspect, repair, replace parts and perform preventive maintenance on a Delta Scientific Corporation Barrier Control Model #RCP-2, Barrier Model TW2015, Arms Model AG812X2. Routine maintenance is required as follows: MONTHLY MAINTENANCE: 1. Inspect hydraulic oil for proper level and condition, add as required; 2. Inspect accumulator pressures, add as necessary; 3. Inspect hoses and protection for wear; 4. Inspect barrier structural components including clevis pins (lubricate), Cover plates and cover plate anchors; 5. Lubricate all hinge pins;, 6. Inspect all limit switches and lights for proper operation; 7. Inspect all relays, motors starters and switches for signs of contact wear; 8. Inspect indicator lights for porper operation, replace bulbs as needed; 9. Clean foundation, hinges and tracks to prevent interference from dirt, stones or trash. QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE (JANUARY, APRIL, JULY AND OCTOBER): 1. All items listed above in the monthly maintnenace; 2. Clean suction strainers. ANNUAL MAINTENANCE (JULY OF EACH YEAR): 1. All items listed above in the monthly maintenance; 2. Change hydraulic fluid and replace with vegetable-based (environmental friendly) hydraulic oil; 3. Replace all filters. Repair services are required on a 24/7 basis. A 4-hour response time for emergency repairs is mandatory. Vendor personnel will be required to provide the following information: Full Name, Date of Birth, Social Security Number and Drivers License number for a Background Check before being allowed to enter the facilty. Failure to provide this information will disqualify the vendor for consideration. The vendor's servicing facility must be located within fifty (50) miles of the Dallas DEA Office. The requirement will be awarded in accordance with the policies and procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13. No solicitation is available. Closing date is 12/03/2004.
