Description

The Plant Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for semi-annual inspections and preventative service to the desiccant air dryers located in Building 215 and 217 and the NIST Gaithersburg, Maryland campus. The NAICS is 333411 with a Size Standard of 500 employees. It is anticipated that the RFQ for this project will be issued on or about November 19, 2004, utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price purchase order on or about December 13, 2004. The period of performance shall be December 13, 2004 through December 12, 2005 with four (4) Option Year periods thereafter. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is SB1341-05-Q-0123, amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Potential offorers are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written RFQ available. Telephone requests will not be honored and no bidders list will be maintained.
