Description
The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Scott AFB, IL will procure the following: on-site, predictive, remdeial, and preventive computer hardware maintenance services, engineering change services, relocation services, surge services and standby maintenance services for DISA (or its successor) Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS)sites, to include the five Defense Enterprise Computing Centers (DECCs)(or their successors), the DECC Detachments (DETs), Systems Management Center (SMC), Processing Element (PE) (or their successors) and any DISA Center for Computing Services (CCS) managed systems regardless of location. Additionally, the requirement will provide software and technical support when they are offered as an integral and essential part of providing hardware maintenance. This is a Competitive 8(a) set aside. The Principal Period of Maintenance (PPM) for this requirement is 0800-1700 during each government business day. The NAICS for this procurement is 811212. The size standard is $21.0 million. The anticipated RFP release date is on or around 29 November 2004 with proposals expected to be due approximately 3 January 2005. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. THE SOLICITATION AND ALL RELATED INFORMATION WILL BE ISSUED ELECTRONICALLY; THEREFORE, ALL WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE RFP WILL BE IGNORED. Vendors must download the RFP, amendments, related correspondence, etc. by accessing the DITCO Home Page, Contracting Opportunities, at http://www.ditco.disa.mil. Once released, the RFP will be under the heading of ?Other Telecommunications and Computer Technology?. Files will be in Microsoft Word 2000 and/or Microsoft Excel 2000 format.
