- Description
- Invitation for Bid (IFB) 797-NC-04-0026 for Medical-Grade Liquid Bulk Oxygen will include estimated requirements for VA and other government healthcare facilities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. All liquid oxygen must meet USP specifications and suppliers must follow FDA’s CGMP regulations. The base contract period will be January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005, with four one-year option periods. In addition to supplying medical-grade bulk oxygen, contractors will be required to provide and install contractor-owned bulk oxygen equipment at facilities that do not own their own tanks. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the facility sites prior to submitting their bids. BIDS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. The solicitation will be available for download, on or about the issue date of September 15, 2004, from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management’s (O&AMM) internet web site @ http://www.va.gov/o&amm/busopp/sols.htm. (Search for the solicitation by solicitation number or by classification code 65) Bids will be due by 4:00 pm Central Standard Time on October 15, 2004. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL.
