- EXTENSION TO DUE DATE FOR RESPONSES: This notice extends the required due date to 01 Dec 2004 for Industry responses to the Request for Information (RFI) under the iNET Project. The full intent of the RFI under the iNET Project is to obtain information from Industry to augment current telemetry systems with network technology to meet emerging needs within the Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB). Additional documents have been made available for public release as of 15 Nov 2004 under the iNET Project. The documents are on FedBizOpps under Reference-Number-iNET01. All responses received to date under this RFI are part of the complete technical package that will be provided to the Government Program Office on 01 Dec 2004. Those interested sources that have responded to the RFI do not have to make further responses. Should any of the source(s) wish to provide an addendum to their earlier response, based on the documentation that was just made available on 15 Nov 2004, they may do so. Industry is reminded that all terms and conditions set forth under the earlier iNET Project FedBizOpps postings remain without change. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this RFI or the Government?s use of such information. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. This request for information is for information and planning purposes only. All written responses shall be sent via U.S. Mail, express/overnight deliveries, or courier service for receipt at Edwards AFB no later than 4:30 PM (local time) on 01 Dec 2004, addressed to Joanne Eldredge, Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKDD, 5 S. Wolfe Ave., Bldg 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-NOV-2004).
