- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue an order under BOA N00019-03-G-0003 with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main Street Stratford, CT 06615, on an other than full and open competitive basis to allow SAC to provide all non-recurring engineering and logistics to develop a retrofit kit to modify MH-60R LRIP I configured aircraft for data link reversibility, update documentation (including logistic documentation), manufacture and test one retrofit assembly, and modify one aircraft for data link reversibility. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy ageny requirements. SAC is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the airframe for the MH-60 aircraft and the only known source possessing the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform this effort. Note 22 is applicable to this synopsis (sole source).
