Description: This work consists of replacing existing tailrace valve and operating mechanism system, to include all valves, operators, stem piping, sump bubbler pipes, and associated brackets. Five additional operators for other systems will also be replaced in this contract. All operators to be electric. Magnitude of work is from $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation will be available on or about November 30, 2004. Bids are due on or about December 30, 2004. The solicitation will be posted on the Contracting Division Internet website at https://ebs.swl.usace.army.mil, so that you may register and download it. All documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of bi d will not be allowed.
