- Joint Tactical Terminal Common Integrated Broadcast Service-Module JTT/CIBS-M Obsolescence Redesign and P3I Market Survey The Government is seeking interested sources for support of JTT/CIBS-M obsolescence redesign and Pre Planned Product Improvement -P3I- to support Integrated Broadcast Services -IBS- new requirements. All interest sources must demonstrate ability to perfor m JTT/CIBS-M obsolete part identification, obsolete part hardware and software redesign, prototype built testing and P3I tasks. The JTT is a special application Ultra High Frequency -UHF- Satellite Communication -SATCOM- and Line of Sight -LOS- secure Intelligence Dissemination terminal to be deployed with tactical units. The terminals are dedicated to the delivery of critical, ti me sensitive battlefield targeting information to tactical commanders and intelligence nodes from all military services in near real time at system high security levels. The JTT is interoperable with the Tactical Reconnaissance Intelligence eXchange Syste m -TRIXS- Integrated Broadcast Service-Interactive -IBS-I- Integrated Broadcast Service-Simplex -IBS-S- Tactical Data Information eXchange Subsystem B (TADIXS-B) and UHF General Purpose Link Channel -DAMA and non-DAMA-. Raytheon Network Centric Systems of St. Petersburg FL is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the JTT Senior and JTT Briefcase -JTT-B- configurations and is currently on contract with the Government to deliver a substantial quantity of JTTs as well as Ho st System Integration Support and Out-Of-Warranty repair services. The Government does not own the JTT production drawings product (below system level) specifications, and software source codes. All interested sources must demonstrate that the JTT/CIBS-M with the new parts will meet the requirements of the JTT System Spe cification -available upon request. Interested sources which have sufficient Technical Production, and Program Management experience in this type of work are invited to send a response describing in detail their ability to identify obsolete parts and provide replacements parts and perform te sting to validate requirements. JTTs IBS P3I upgrades include the following: 1. Embedded COMSEC modules upgrade 2. Common Message Format -CMF- on red side processor 3. Emerging IBS Common Integrated Broadcast -CIB- waveform Integration Proprietary information is not being solicited. The Government will not reimburse interested sources or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding or for subsequent exchanges of information. Responses should be submitted no later than close of business 17 December 2004. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas.
