Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Qu otes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) has a requirement to design/build and install s oftware for technician to acquire, calculate, and display timing data from ballistic events and distribute data via Ethernet. Software shall be a single application package installed on PCs in order to have a single system that performs all chronograph fu nctions. Software shall interface with the YPG network and GPS. See Ballistic Chronograph Statement of Work (SOW) for explicit details, which can be found on YPGs Web address: http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting. You must also provide present and past performance information with the name, address, point of contact of at least two (contracts, customers etc) that you have provided the same or similar services. It is anticipated that a contract with an estimated dollar amount will be awarded with a deli very period of 180 days. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-25 (04Nov04) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs) current to DCN2001110 edition. Government Visa Payment Card is the preferred method of payment. Standard Industry Classification Code (SIC) is 7373 and The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541512 with a size standard of $21 million. Quotes shall be cl early marked W9124R-05-T-0004-Ballistic Chronograph Software and emailed to linda.renteria@yuma.army.mil or via facsimile (928) 328-6849 no later than 3:00 P.M Mountain Standard Time (MST) 13 December 2004. Offerors who fail to furnish the required repres entations or information as required by 52. 212-1, 52.212-3, and 52.212-7001 cited below, or reject terms and conditions of this CSS may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose quote confo rming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price.
