Description

Work consists of providing all labor, equipment, transportation, materials, quality control and supervision necessary to place a nominally 8 ft wide by 4 ft thick concrete slab around one side of the launch tube at ground level at various Missile Launch Facilities in accordance with the specifications and drawings located within 175 miles of Malmstrom AFB MT. The concrete slab will be heavily reinforced and doweled into the existing launch tube. Support for the slab will be provided by a combination of compacted subgrade and engineered fill. The Request For Proposal will be issued on or about 3 Jan 2005. The Request For Proposal will close on or about 3 Feb 2005. Performance period is 5 days per Missile Launch Facility after issuance of the Notice To Proceed. The anticipated five (5) year requirement contract will be awarded on a Price Performance Trade-Off basis. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The request for Proposal is available only on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS Code is 237990.
