- Proposed Work: The principal components of the work situated at Nixa Substation in southwest Missouri include the following: Furnish and install one 69-kV SF6 circuit breaker on new foundations; furnish and install two 69 k-V disconnect switches; furnish and install one dead end tower on new foundations including yard drain modifications; furnsih and install 1 line support structure on new foundation including conductor and shield wire installation; install three 69-kV CT's on new stands; furnish and install three new 60-kV PTs and three surge arrestors on new stands; modify and add new 69kV bus, bus stands and jumpers; furnish and install grounding, raceway and insulated conductors and cable; furnish and install one duplex switchboard section and complete modifications, add cables and add materials as required by the drawings; and in addition to the above work at Nixa, the contractor shall furnish and deliver to Springfield Substation one 69-kV SF6 circuit breaker. Tentative dates are as follows: Posting of Synopsis: 16 Dec 04 Posting of Solicitation/invitation for bid: 3 Jan 05 Bid Opening: 3 Feb 05 The plans will be available for inspection at the Southwestern Power Administration, One West Third, Tulsa OK 74103.
