- SOURCES SOUGHT: The project work consists of furnishing all supplies, materials, and transportation required to fabricate and deliver concrete sinkers to various locations throughout the Midwest and southern United States. The sinkers are used as mooring anchors to hold buoys in place on the river bottom on various river systems. A multiple award is anticipated for requirements contract. Single delivery orders shall not exceed $100,000.00. This award anticipates a base year of January, 2005 through September, 2005, with four option years starting October, 2005 through September, 2009. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 327390, Concrete products, precast (except block, brick and pipe), manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. Hard copies of the solicitation are not available. SOLICITATION IN ITS ENTIRETY WILL BE AVAILABLE ON LINE AT: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All amendments and pertinent information will be available at this website. Register for the solicitation package in order to receive any changes posted electronically. No phone requests shall be accepted.. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing as early as possible, but shall not be received by the Contracting Officer later than 15 calendar days after posting of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. .
