Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates awarding a sole source contract to Loronix Information Systems, Inc. for expansion of its existing Loronix Digital Video Recording System (DVRS). Loronix is the manufacturer of the equipment and is the only contractor with the specialized knowledge and experience to integrate the new equipment and software upgrades without adverse consequences to the BEP in terms of performance and meeting critical schedules. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
