- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with Dudlik Industries Inc. for eight 77-Gallon External Auxiliary Fuel Tanks with modified pickups P/N 386-68500-5. for the AH-1W, AH-1Z and UH-1Y. Dudlik Industries produces and repairs the tanks that the H-1 fleet currently uses. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Dudlik Industries, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the 77-Gallon External Auxiliary Tank and is the only known firm that has the knowledge, data, qualified facility and manufacturing process to manufacture the 77 ? gallon external auxilliary fuel tank.
