- The National Park Service intends to award one or more 10 year concession contracts for the sale of visitor convenience at the following Alaska park units: Denali (Eielson Visitor Center), Sitka (Sitka Visitor Center), Wrangell St. Elias (Kennecott Visitor Center) and Kenai Fjords (Exit Glacier Nature Center). Offerors may submit a proposal for one or more of these locations. The NPS limits the sale of visitor convenience items and other merchandise within park units to that which is necessary and appropriate for visitor use, recognizing that such items are widely available in gateway communities outside parks. The prospectus is available on the following website: www.nps.gov/akso/concessions/home.htm. Hardcopies are available upon request (contact information is below). Proposals must be received at National Park Service, 240 W 5th Avenue #114, Anchorage, AK 99501-2327 no later than 4:00 pm on January 21, 2005 to be considered and evaluated.
