No modification shall be done to the standard air motor as produced by the manufacturer except for the output shaft. Standard Parallel-side with 6 spline, fitting a .75 inch nominal diameter Class B, will fit on the output shaft of this air motor. The minimum diameter of the output shaft shall be the root diameter of the spline, which is 0.630 inc hes and heat treated to a Rockwell of 40 to 44. The air motor shall have a minimum horsepower rating of 1.35 with a minimum stall torque of 65 foot-pounds and a minimum free speed of 370 r.p.m. This performance is base on operating air pressure of 90 psi. The maximum weight shall not exceed 6 pounds. This will be a non-reversible air motor rated at an air pressure of 90 psi. All bearings will either be roller or needle bearings including the bearings in the planetary gears. A firm-fixed price award will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
