SYNOPSIS: Request for Proposal (RFP) Number: W58RGZ-04-R-1045; PRON: AX4F0566AX ; NSN: 1680-01-504-6723; Quantity: 300 each; P/N: 70550-02031-115; Noun: Control Unit, Genera; Applicable to the (BE) UH-60. Deliveries are F.O.B. origin to New Cumberland, PA. The required delivery is 224 days after contract award. This item is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp (Cage Code 78286) and Honeywell ASCA Inc (Cage Code 07217) because this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. THIS ACQUISITI ON CONTAINS DATA WHICH IS CONSIDERED CRITICAL TECHNOLOGY AND HAS BEEN RESTRICTED FOR RELEASE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNMENT. Foreign Firms are reminded tha t all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to co mpete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request (CAPSAR) for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be c onsidered by the Agency. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
