- This is a SOLICITATION NOTICE for a Requirements contract which consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct individual onsite wastewater disposal systems, individual water and sewer service, and other related appurtenances in accordance with the supplied drawings and specifications. Work is to be performed at or near Indian residences located in Marin, Mendocino, Sonoma, and Lake Counties, California. It is ESTIMATED that eight (8) septic tank drainfield systems, two (2) engineered wastewater disposal systems, five (5) water service line and three (3) sewer service line connections will be installed during both the base and option year. The individual septic tank drainfield systems will consist of a septic tank and either a gravel or chamber drainfield system. It is estimated that short water main extensions with flush hydrants and gate valves will be required for the base and option year. It is estimated that short sewer main or sewer service line extensions will be required for the base and option year. Contractor MUST have a California Class A General Contractor License or Equivalent from another State. The contract will be for one year (BASE YEAR) with the option for one additional year (OPTION YEAR). Award WILL be based on the total estimated amount for both the BASE and OPTION year. The estimated amount of this contract is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. Solicitation packages will be available approximately 3 December 2004. THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT RESTRICTED IAW FAR 19.1001, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Project.
