Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement is for a quantity of 18 EA Steel Sheet, Alloy 4130 Hot Rolled, Annealed, Pickled and Oiled, .160 X 36 X 120, per MIL-S-18729. Delivery is required as follows: At least 4 She ets 19 November 2004, at least 8 sheets 3 December 2004, and the balance delivered by 17 December 2004. Early deliveries and a delivery of the entire quantity will be acceptable. This requirement will also carry a possible option quantity of 100%, to be exercised within 60 days of any purchase order that may result from this solicitation. Please quote your option price with your quote for the base quantity. If no option price is quoted, the Government reserves the right to accept the lowest price on the original quote for that particular item. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to be considered for award. The web site for registration is www.ccr.gov Please submit all quotes electronically b y 5:00 PM Central Time on 11 November 2004.
