Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 has a requirement to provide renovations for Project 646-05-109U, "Renovate Nuclear Medicine Wing". Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for renovating the tenth floor west wing known as Nuclear Medicine in building one at the University Drive Division of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, as required by drawings and specifications. Contract work shall include general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing structures and construction. Work shall also include minimal asbestos glovebag, floor tile and mastic abatement. The construction cost range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $28.5M. A pre-bid conference is tentatively scheduled for December 15, 2004. While not mandatory, all bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Bid opening is tentatively scheduled for January 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the A&MM Conference Room, 373E, Third Floor, Building #4 at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Solicitation is unrestricted and open to both large and small businesses. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency if timely.
