- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) sub part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. The solicitation number for this Request for Quotation is W9114F-05-T-0015. Please use the following link to access the solicitation http://www.healthcare.hqusareur.army.mil/ERCO-Contracting/default.htm. This solicitation is issued on an unrestricted basis under NAICS number 423450. DESCRIPTION: Coupling Fixation Orthpedic. Delivery, which shall be FOB Destination to U.S. Army Medical Material Center, Pirmasens, Germany shall occur 15 days after award of the purchase order. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offerors initial offer should contain the offerors best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the G overnment reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. The offeror shall also provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Contractor Establishment Code (DUNS number) and Tax Identi fication number. The resulting firm fixed price award will incorporate the requirements of the clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and ConditionsCommercial Items. Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Execut ive OrdersCommercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
