Description
NASA/KSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for Engineering, Technical, and Administrative support for the program and projects for NASA Acquisition Pollution Prevention (AP2) Program. This support is to provide Agency-wide as needed in the areas of environmental, material and process engineering, environmental investigation, feasibility and risk assessment, program and project technical and business management, environmental sustainability, information management and administrative support services for the development, planning, integration and executive of NASA joint service/international sustainability and pollution prevention (AP2) program and project opportunities that reduce or eliminate NASA's environmental liablity and risk. This work will assist the Government in eliminating or reducing use of restricted and targeted hazardous materials in present and future space systems and ground support equipment development, manufacture, production, support and sustainment maintenance and acquisition activities. Projects will assist the Government in forming core technology solution teams that will identify and screen viable alternatives, develop engineering performance requirements, and test and evaluate potential sustainable and P2 materials and processes. These efforts are in direct support of NASA systems programs and other Government programs and strategies. The objective of this effort shall be met by fostering technology innovation, encouraging new approaches, and working together with NASA, Department of Defense (DoD), and international partners. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the above requirement should submit a capability statement indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort described herein. Responses should include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; number of years in business; This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto.
