- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit offers for a single award, firm fixed-price contract for storage and warehousing services at Naval Support Activity, New Orleans, Louisiana. Services include supervision, management, personnel, equipment and necessary supplies to perform the tasks associated with warehouse operations, material delivery operations, customer services support as identified in the performance work statement. Site visit is tentatively scheduled for 2 December 2004 at 9:00 a.m. The solicitation will be issued on a small business set-aside basis. Period of performance begins 1 March 2005 through 28 February 2006 for the base year and contains four one-year option periods. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 493110 and the Small Business Size Standard is $21.5 million. This procurement will be awarded under the Commercial Item Test Program, FAR Part 13.5. The intended contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is determined to be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. All responsible small businesses are encouraged to submit an offer. Lack of registration in the Central Contract Registration (ccr.gov) database will make an offeror ineligible for award. DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A applies.
