Description
THIS MODIFICATION IS TO CORRECT THE RESPONSE DATE FOR THE POSTING. REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 2,079 rentable square feet yielding 1,808 usable square feet of contiguous office and related space in Tampa, Florida to house an Environmental Protection Agency office. Contiguous (same floor) space is preferred. Space may not be on the ground floor or top floor of any building. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Streets and public sidewalks should be well maintained. Additionally, 2 covered, secured, parking spaces must be provided within 1 block of the space for government owned vehicles. Regularly scheduled public transportation and/or employee parking within 3 blocks sufficient to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. Space should be located within 1/2 mile of a variety of moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants. Other amenities such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should also be available within 3 blocks. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type building having fully adequate means of ingress and egress. Buildings must also fully meet the Federal requirements for handicap accessibility, must be altered or constructed to meet the Government’s requirements and must be fully serviced. The building offered must not contain sprayed on fireproofing or acoustical treatment containing asbestos. LOCATION: The U.S. Government will be evaluating offers from the following delineated area: NORTH: Interstate 275; EAST: Channelside Drive; SOUTH: Garrison Channel / Harbour Island; WEST: N. Boulevard. For more specific information regarding the delineated area or to verify if your property is located within the delineated area please call the contact identified below. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy by May 20, 2005. LEASE TERM: Term is 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after 5 years.
