Description
The contractor shall provide all labor (licensed and qualified at the Journeymen level), materials, equipment, supervision, permits, licenses and management to perform monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual inspections and minor repairs, as necessary to Inspect and Repair of Low Pressure CO2 Systems, CO2 Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems and the Dry Chemical Extinguishing Systems at various buildings, Naval Station, Newport, RI. to provide preventative maintenance and repair systems and documentation and equipment tagging as part of this contract. This contract will be a combination Firm Fixed-Price and Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IQ) contract This solicitation contains a Base Period and four, One-Year Options to be executed by the Government if found to be in its best interest. The options may be exercised without notice. FAC 5252.217-9301, Option to Extend The Term Of The Contract (Services) will be included in this solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as a Small Business Set Aside and is subject to the HubZone Evaluation Preference contained in FAR 52.219-4. The estimated cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. The NAICS Code is 561621 and has a Small Business Standard of $10.5 million. The IFB, Invitation For Bid, will be available on the Internet, only. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge. All prospective offerors should register on this site by clicking on the entrance button to access and create an account. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised, for solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, failure to register in the CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing web site: www.ccr2000.com or by referring to DFAR Subpart 204.73. Offerors should submit verification of their firm’s registration in the CCR Database with their quote.
