- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to make a sole source purchase from MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc. for software, annual support and runtime license. The Part Numbers and descriptions are as follows: Vega Prime LADBM Development Environment Part Number vp_ladbm_dev (quantity – 1); annual support for Vega Prime LADBM Development Environment Part Number vp_ladbm_dev_m (quantity – 1); Vega Prime Runtime Environment Part Number vp_base_rti (quantity – 3); Vega Prime LADBM Runtime En! vironment Part Number vp_ladbm_rti (quantity – 3); DIS/HLA for Vega Runtime Environment Part Number vp_mak_rti (quantity – 3). This software is proprietary software developed and supported only by MultiGen-Paradigm. The software purchase is an add-on module for currently owned software from MultiGen-Paradigm. The runtime license allows for multiple operators for software developed by this organization using this MultiGen-Paradigm software. The annual support includes telephone, fax and e-mail technical support, software and documentation updates and bug fixes. The contract shall be firm fixed price. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All items are to be priced FOB Destination. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Registration can be completed by accessing the CCR Web Site at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained from the D! OD Electronic Commerce Information Center at (800) 334-3414. Interested parties other than MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. must be able to demonstrate in writing by 09 November 2004. Anticipated award date is 12 November 2004. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO ISSUE A SEPARATE REQUEST FOR QUOTE, AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENITFY IN THIS NOTICE.
