Description
This is a notification of a sole source procurement for Naval Hospital, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Medstone International Corporation, 100 Columbia, Suite 100, Alliso Viejo, California 92656. See Numbered Note 22. The request is to provide Transmobile Lithotripsy Services. The estimated number of procedures per month is four (4) each. The award will be for a base period of one year from the date of award with four (4) one-year options. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, any proposals received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. ! A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offerors must be registered in the CCR (Central Contractor Registration) database. Lack of registration in the CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information may be obtained by calling (888) 227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. As a condition of contract award, the Contractor agrees to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application, called Wide Area Workflow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). This application allows DOD vendors to submit and track invoices and Receipt/Acceptance documents electronically. This application allows for complete visibility throughout the acceptance and payment process. The web-site for registration is http://rmb.odgen.disa.mil/.
